*EDIT* Ok, I worked on this a little more to bring it past the sketchy phase. I think I'm done with it, but I'm not sure. I know I'm much happier with the colors now. 
Also, went in and fixed the odd slope to his left side so that he didn't look so much like he'd been crushed by a ton of bricks. Also fixed his right side shoulder blade.

Technique ImpactOk, so first, let me just say that I love this! - and that the water is so beautiful. He's got a lovely skin tone and beautifully executed hair <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Big Grin)"/> I love how you've created the illusion of lots of hair using the light and color. He's also very original, as is the way his skin is done and his eyes are!

ok- first I feel the that character's left arm is a little off in perspective. This mostly feels like that because of the color- it is the same as the face, yet is is in deeper shadow and further back- so it should be I'm also not sure if so much of it would be seen. <- I hope that chunck of words makes some sense lol >.< Also he shoulder looks a bit strange to me- though I'm not sure if his animal race makes it that rectangular/ovally at the joint?
Next, I love the water- it's gorgeous. Like, I can't even. It's too gorgeous lol but it has a strange bending quality, and towards the viewers right, there are some unblended strokes that don't fit in with the rest of the beautifully blended water.
